The Cold Read Series is ecstatic to bring in person meetings to Neighbor! Each month, we'll be joining to read and provide feedback on new plays in early stages of development. Community members are welcome to join us for wine, snacks, and new work as we bring these pieces to life in their first stages of creation! 

The Cold Read Series hosts monthly meetings for writers, actors, and theater lovers to meet and connect over new work. Writers are welcome to submit pages to be read and actors are welcome to submit to read these pages. 

This month's play reading will be: The Yearnings by Frank Murdocco

Synopsis: Mae has a gift. Ted has a secret. And the two of them have each other. 

As the two adopted siblings clear out their childhood home the night their mother was taken off life support, the two must survey the gulf of distance between them, while trying in their own fickle, contorted ways to fill the gap as their lives change forever.
